Membuat Partisi Di Windows 7

1. Silakan anda log on sebagai Administrator.
2. Masuk ke [Control Panel > System and Maintenance > Administrative Tools > Computer Management]. Cara lain adalah klik kanan pada ikon Komputer pada desktop lalu pilih [Computer Management]. Jika Anda diminta untuk memasukkan sandi administrator atau konfirmasi, ketik sandi atau memberikan konfirmasi.
3. Klik tanda panah pada [Storage] dan akan terbuka Disk Management console. Lihat gambar dibawah;
4. Pilih partisi hard disk yang akan dibagi, misalnya dalam contoh ini Drive C.
5. Klik kanan disk yang akan dibagi dan pilih [Shrink Volume].

6. Proses akan memakan waktu beberapa saat, sampai sistem memperlihatkan struktur partisi.
7. Pada jendela berikut secara default sistem akan langsung membagi besarnya masing-masing partisi lama dan baru. Anda bisa mengubah ukuran partisi tersebut. Harap dicatat, sekali lagi, bahwa ukuran ini berhubungan dengan jumlah aktual ruang kosong di partisi yang akan dibagi. Anda tidak dapat mengambil ruang melebihi jumlah fragmentasi file pada partisi tersebut. Jika sudah selesai, klik tombol [Shrink].

8. Proses ini akan selesai cukup cepat, dan reboot TIDAK diperlukan. Anda dapat melihat ukuran partisi baru. Proses selesai.

Error 0x8004010F Object could not be found

Problem: While doing a Send/Receive you see the error message: Task 'Microsoft Exchange Server' reported error (0x8004010F): 'The operation failed. An object could not be found.'

This error message indicates that MS Outlook was not able to find and download the offline Address Book. The offline Address Book for your company is automatically created during the first night after your company has signed up and become our customer.

Solution: This is a common error message that occurs on the first day that a user joins our service and does not affect your ability to send or receive email. This error will not be present the next day and does not require any action from the user.

If you continue to see this error message after the first 2-3 days of signing up as a new customer, please follow this sequence of steps:

Step 1: From within Outlook click Tools -> Send/Receive -> Download Address Book -> Ok.

If you still receive this error message when sending or receiving please proceed to Step 2.

Step 2: Rebuild your offline files:

1. Go to C:\Documents and Settings\YourLoginName\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook and create a folder called tmp.
2. Move all of the files located into this folder.
3. Start Outlook and be patient as it regenerates a copy of your mailbox
4. Once you get the message "All folders are up to date" at the bottom right, try the send and receive

If you still receive this error message when sending or receiving please proceed to Step 3.

Step 3: Create a new profile for Outlook. Once the new profile is created, log in to the mailbox and wait for it to completely synch

Exchange 2007 Customers: If you are getting the following error message when attempting to perform synchronization in Outlook 2007:

"Not downloading Office address book files. A server (URL) could not be located or the error 0x8004010F Object could not be found."

Please ensure that the AutoDiscovery DNS record is created for your domain. Outlook 2007 utilizes the AutoDiscovery service to obtain the information on where Offline Address Book is located.

The system has recovered from a serious error

Besar kemungkinannya para pembaca yang budiman pernah mengalami kejadian seperti ini. Sesaat setelah restart atau menghidupkan komputer, muncul box warning di desktop (Windows XP) dengan tulisan System has recovered from serious error, dengan tombol Send Error Report dan Dont Send.

Penyebabnya sendiri bisa bermacam-macam. Mungkin dari driver yang tidak kompatibel dengan XP, atau bug pada software. Namun gejalanya biasanya sama. Sistem tiba-tiba restart sendiri tanpa tedeng aling-aling.

Nah, berikut tips yang sudah saya coba dan ternyata bisa menyembuhkan penyakit seperti tersebut diatas.

1. Buka Control Panel-System (atau tekan tombol Windows+Pause)

2. Klik tab Advanced, pada bagian Performance klik Settings

3. Klik tab Advanced pada window yang baru muncul, lalu pada bagian Virtual Memory klik Change

4. Klik pada drive dimana ditempatkannya Virtual Memory (atau disebut juga Paging File) lalu klik No paging file lalu klik Set.

5. Kemudian klik System managed size lalu klik Set kembali

6. Klik OK pada semua window yang muncul lalu restart komputer.

Disable AutoPlay AutoRun di Windows XP

1. Klik tombol Start -> Run.

2. Ketik gpedit.msc dan klik OK.

3. Klik pada User Configuration --> Administrative Templates --> System.

4. Double klik pada Turn Off Autoplay.

5. Klik option Enable.

6. Pada option Turn off Autoplay on, pilih All drives.

7. Klik OK.
